Ministries

Women's Ministries
The purpose of the Women's Holistic Ministry is to provide an important supportive structure to the Christ Temple membership by helping women of all ages deal with life's challenges. By empowering women to help one another through a variety of services, the ministry provides female church members with a strong and more cohesive sense of identity in the church.

Men's Ministries
The Men's Ministry Aids the Senior Pastor in the proper and positive development of the men of Christ Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. and increases the visibility of men who are making viable contributions toward the ministry for Christ Temple.

Youth Ministries
The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to build strong moral character in young members, ages 2 through 19. Youth are facing daily pressures from drugs, crime, peers, and society in general and are in need Christian-oriented programs for support and guidance. Through activities and fellowship, the Youth Ministry serves as an extension of the Senior Pastor, and provides a training ground for tomorrow's ministry leaders.

Christian Education
The major focus of Christ Temple's vision is religious and secular education for children and adults. The church emphasizes the need for its members to be academically prepared for the intellectual demands of society and for jobs that meet their economic needs and those of their families. The Christian Education Ministry programs will help church members and community residents face life in a modern society and share the gospel with others.

Music Ministries
Music is an integral part of Christ Temple's worship and holiday celebrations, traditions, and customs. A holistic fellowship juxtaposes the medium of music to sermonizing and teaching.

Family Enrichment Ministries
The Family Enrichment Ministries seek to identify problems, needs and changing patterns of couples and family relationships. Counseling, tools, and resources are employed by the Marriage Enrichment Ministry and the Pre-Marital, Marriage and Family Counselors to help couples and families bond together.

Outreach Ministries
Through its Evangelistic Outreach and Sick & Shut-In Visitation Programs, the Outreach Ministries reach and minister to people through prayer and fellowship outside the church edifice. By bringing the Gospel to those whom may not otherwise seek it, the Outreach Ministries provide an opportunity to surrender their lives to Christ.

Helps Ministries
The most communally impacting ministry at Christ Temple seeks to motivate the saints to serve and build up the kingdom of God by sharing and spreading hospitality to people in need. The combined efforts of the Ushers, Greeters, Reflection Ministry, Food Distribution and Weekly Prayer Service programs and ministries provide benevolence, food, and clothing to its saints and community at-large.

Prayer Partners Ministries
The purpose of the Prayer Partners Ministry is to facilitate the initiation of converts and believers who respond to "the call".

Communications Ministries
The Communications Department came about in 1995 as a result of findings from a membership survey. The survey noted the need for a professional system to create and disseminate information about church services and events in a timely fashion. Today, the Communications Ministry is Christ Temple's primary information resource.
